Modern Slavery & Human Rights Policy

At Zencargo, we believe our success depends on conducting business with honesty, integrity and respect for human rights. Modern slavery, in any form, has no place in our operations or in our supply chain.

This policy sets out our commitment to preventing modern slavery and protecting human rights, in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and other applicable laws in the countries where we operate.

This policy applies to all Zencargo employees, contractors, suppliers and partners, and extends to our global supply chain.

It covers:

• our commitment to preventing modern slavery and protecting human rights;
• the responsibilities of leadership, employees and suppliers;
• how we carry out due diligence and manage risk; and
• how concerns can be raised and reported.

We expect everyone working for or with Zencargo to uphold the principles set out in this policy. Employees are encouraged to speak to their Line Manager or the People Team if they have questions or concerns.

Zencargo is committed to:

• Prohibiting modern slavery: we unequivocally condemn all forms of modern slavery, including forced labour, child labour, human trafficking and any other human rights violations, in our operations and supply chain.
• Legal compliance: we will comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 in the UK, and all other applicable laws relating to modern slavery and human rights in the geographies where we operate.
• Due diligence: we will identify and assess risks relating to modern slavery and human rights across our operations and supply chain.
• Risk mitigation: we will take appropriate steps to address any risks identified, and respond promptly to any instances of modern slavery or human rights violations.

Leadership

Zencargo’s leadership team is responsible for setting the tone, demonstrating commitment, and providing the resources needed to implement this policy effectively.

Employees

All employees are expected to remain vigilant, report any suspicion of modern slavery or human rights violations, and cooperate fully with any investigation.

Suppliers and Contractors

We expect our suppliers and contractors to uphold the principles of this policy, and to take steps to eliminate modern slavery and human rights violations within their own organisations and supply chains.

Training and Awareness

Zencargo will provide training and awareness programmes so that employees understand the risks of modern slavery and human rights violations, and know how to raise concerns.

To identify and address risks relating to modern slavery and human rights, Zencargo will:

• Assess supplier risk: carry out risk assessments of our suppliers and contractors to identify potential vulnerabilities to modern slavery and human rights abuses.
• Audit and inspect: regularly audit and inspect our supply chain partners to ensure compliance with our standards, the Modern Slavery Act 2015, and other relevant laws.
• Take corrective action: act promptly and appropriately in response to any violations or risks identified.

We encourage all employees, suppliers and stakeholders to report any concerns, suspicions or violations relating to modern slavery and human rights. Reports can be made through our confidential reporting mechanism, which protects whistleblowers, as set out in our Whistleblowing Policy.

Zencargo will communicate openly about its efforts to combat modern slavery and human rights abuses, both internally and externally, and will provide regular updates on our progress to stakeholders.

We are committed to continuously improving our approach to preventing modern slavery and protecting human rights, and will review and update this policy regularly to ensure it remains effective and relevant.
